Porcelain vase with Ave Maria monogram – gold decoration. French porcelain, possibly from La Seynie in Limoges, which produced porcelain with the Ave Maria monogram. Sold by specialist retailer Dauphin in Paris (34 Rue de Sévres). The elegant shape is embellished with graceful openwork handles in gold lustre, while the distinctive ‘Ave Maria’ monogram (AM with cross) adorns the belly. The gold painting shows visible wear. Otherwise in very good condition (no cracks or chips). H: 21 cm
